finally I bought a Timberjack 209D, it's been on my wish list since last year!
it’s a runner, but it definitely needs some love. I’m planning to do the transmission and both Hercules winches this week to get everything back to 100%.
the Perkins 4.236 is easy enough to find parts for around here, but the New Process 441R transmission (with the reverser box) is proving to be a ghost.

I’ve scoured the web and found almost nothing. does anyone know if the internals on these 441 boxes swap with other NP models, or better yet, where I can score some actual TJ parts?

Congrats on the Timberjack 209D, those are such cool machines. The NP441R is the tricky part and you are not crazy for feeling like it is a ghost. A lot of owners end up finding a donor transmission or reverser box instead of chasing individual internals. Have you tried calling salvage yards that specialize in forestry equipment and asking specifically for Timberjack 209D driveline take outs?

Congrats on the Timberjack 209D. The NP441R stuff really is a scavenger hunt. I would start by tracking down gasket, bearing, seal kits first since those are actually still sold by a few aftermarket parts houses for the New Process 441R.
