curious which saws you’re leaning on these days for big timber jobs. is it husqvarna, stihl, or something else?
I own both, almost exclusively use my husqvarna saws. I only use husqvarna saws when I'm felling big timbercurious which saws you’re leaning on these days for big timber jobs. is it husqvarna, stihl, or something else?
You have to have both really.I keep hearing the same theme: Stihl and Husqvarna both show up a lot on big timber crews, then it comes down to dealer support and which platform your crew already has parts for. In this cold weather, what matters more to you, easy starting and warm up, or outright power once it is up to temp?
Having never used a 450, really appreciate your review.Husqvarna 450ll/2025. chainsaw with built-in oil pump from 460 and chain transmission in ring gear with 8 teeth ring, after regular preparation for ignition it started after 3 strokes in choke and 1 stroke in half choke, outside temperature -2*C, literally the same ignition as in the fall at an outside temperature of 15*C, no difference, made a new mixture of eurosuper95 class plus with additives (EN 228 standards) and Husqvarna LS+ oil in a ratio of 1:50, what more could a person want, I am a satisfied and happy user of the Husqvarna 450ll/2025. chainsaw both in the fall and in the winter
