I wanted to buy a chainsaw bar, and surprised when checking out Stihl bars, wow they're pricey now
I wonder if there are any big differences between Stihl, Husqvarna, and Duke's? I mean, the functional or reliability wise
and I saw these Japanese brand chainsaw bars, are they good?

You're paying for the name at this point or should I say, we. For most users the difference isn't huge unless you're running it commercially every day

I don't mind the Oregon bars as far as budget bars go. I know a few fellas who swear by Forester bars. I generally run Sugihara bars myself, but they are a little more expensive. I also heard from a couple people Sugi bars are going down in quality, though that isnt evident (yet) in the bars i own.

Had a Woodland Pro bar from Bailey's, ok for a while but delaminated eventually. Running a Sumara now along with my Stihl's, get what u pay for.

Have you heard anything specific about what's changed ? because my friend recommended a sugi not too long ago

Apparently, the quality of the metal went down. They are Japanese bars though, so I'm not too sure if that's true or not. I love my Sugi bar, it's taken some abuse and still looks brand new. No bending or groove pinching. Mine is a 32" on a 385xp, and I've run it through some shitty cuts!
