So i saw this crazy logging video online

I thought this one's kinda crazy because they weren't using any protective gear and they dont use hinges! too bad I cant find the same video. have u all seen it? i will post the link here once i catch it again
 
My take is that it's hard to give advice on felling a tree especially one like a black oak without seeing it in person, Every tree has unique attributes and pictures only show part of the story. They might help a little but they cant capture the details like the lean, weight distribution or surrounding terrain. Honestly theres no one size fits all method for felling trees into the perfect lay. It takes careful judgment and hands on experience to decide the best approach. If ure tackling a job like this more straightforward techniques often work better than overcomplicated ones

Those are probably some seasoned lads lol. I wont risk a day felling without gear on lol just cant.

Dang. I mean seasoned or not, you still need protective gear. Have you found the link? Come let's see.
