What’s everyone cutting right now?

Figured I’d start a thread to see what everyone’s been dropping and hauling lately. Around here, I’ve been working through a stand of mixed hardwood which is mostly maple and a few stubborn oaks that are making me earn every log. Nothing like the smell of fresh chips and the satisfying thud when a big one finally hits the ground just the way you planned.
I always like hearing what others are working on this time of year

oh I always love to work on maple, it's easy to split, but yeah, oaks can be a real workout.
right now, I've been wrestling with a big stand of deadfall Black Locust this month, it's unbelievably heavy.
what's the biggest diameter you've hauled out of that maple stand so far?

Nice! @Bradley565 I would also love to know what everyone is cutting and hauling this season. Who’s got some interesting loads going on right now?

I've been doing a bit of population control along the Delaware River here in NY. Very dense hemlock forests with some dead ash sprinkled throughout. Thinning everything out to promote healthier growth of the larger trees and prevent overcrowding, while also creating some nice river views! I have about 160 hemlocks and ash trees down over just shy of a mile of riverfront!

A mixture of spruce, pine, birch, fir, hemlock, red cedar, poplar, and cottonwood.
